Savanna was born around the time there was calm in the Cimmeron Herd. Of course her mother loved her at once, but her father a fleeting stallion had decided it was time to move on. Her mother was very upset that the stallion had used her but when she looked down at her daughter, she realized that she had gotten the best thing out of it. this little filly. She named her daughter Savanna and as soon as she could taught Savanna everything. Savanna grew up in a time when Spirit was still a colt. She grew up with him, but also knew deep in her heart when she grew up it would be time for her to find her own way.

As Savanna grew she realized that life in the herd was just way to boring for her. She wanted excitment, she wanted joy, she wanted to be wild and to have the time of her life. So she left the herd late one night and on her way through the forest met a young stallion who in her eyes was amazing. She fell in love with him and soon mated with him, it wasnt before to long that her happiness was shattered, The stallion used her and once she was pregnant and had the foal he killed the foal and left her for dead there in the middle of the meadow.

Savanna drifted in and out of conciousness and in her dreamlike state imagined another stallion coming near her, but this one was kind and caring nothing like the one who used her. A couple days later Savanna who had finally recovered looked at her dead filly and sighed knowing it would take her a while to trust again after that incident. She picked herself up and traveled looking for the stallion of her dreams.

That is when she found Hotspur he was an exact image of the stallion who had helped her in her time of need. he needed mares and she needed a place to stay, somewhere safe.

How related to Spirit: she was born in the Cimmeron Herd

She's lovely ^^ When you mentioned her mother, did you mean the chestnut mare at the bottom of the picture, next to Esperanza? If you did, would you like my mare Kestrel to be her half sister, since I made the same mare Kestrel's mother?
