History: Hatched on a farm in Germany, got shipped to Brazil at young age. She was suppost to get shipped to a zoo due to her being a rare breed but never arrived there. At the airport of Rio the box she was in fell down while taking out of the plane. In shock Käthe ran straight into the joungle. Soon a toucan found her. The toucan was curious because he never saw a chicken before. They talked a while and as the sun went down the toucan helped her finding a place for the night. There was a bush under the tree the toucan used to spent the nights, it was going to be Käthe´s new home. Later the night humans where invading the joungle catching some birds. The toucan noticed and flew off. Käthe ran after him, flapping her wings trying to lift off the ground but in vain. Soon the humans got her and took her into some kind of shed. There where many bids in cages and she also got in one. Some time later almost all cages got loaded into a plane. While loading the cages one of the humans accidentally opened the lock of the cage without noticing it. So Käthe got free again. After some days of wandering through the joungle she was back the the tree the toucan was living. But he wasn´t alone, Käthe didn´t notice the female toucan and all the chicks last time she was there because they where already silently sleeping.  Sad she walked off, not turning back. It took some time until she got over it but after some weeks she went back and with small steps a friendship started to grow between the toucan and the hen.
