Personality: Alana is a very outgoing female, she openly speaks her mind and loves her freedom. She´s very sociable and likes to hang out with other birds. She can be a bit bossy at times and has a short temper. She acts a bit cold around strangers but when she warmed up to somebody she can be really fun and cares about her friends.

Likes: Carnival, spending time with her friends, the jungle, mango fruits

History: Although everyone thought Blu and Jewel where the last Spix macaws there was one more, Alana. She is the younger sister of Jewel. Long time they didn´t know each other. Alana lived a pretty normal livfe in the joungle and often visited the town of Rio around carnival time. She got attracted by all the bright colors. Once she got lost and couldn´t find her way back home, that´s when she met Rafael. Soon he found someone who could show her the way back. One year after Jewel met Blu Alana met them both in the jungle. She was suprised to see birds of her kind and so where the other two. Soon they figured out that Alana and Jewel are sisters.

One day, while flying over the city of Rio, Alana saw a kind of bird she´s never seen before. It was much bigger than her. Being her curious self Alana soon landed on a roof next to the strange bird, silently watching it. After a while the bigger bird started talking to her and after some chatting she told her who she is and, what was more interesting for Alana, what she is. Alana wasn´t afraid by the eagle´s appearance even though she was much bigger than her. Eventually her and Libertine became friends.
