The story goes that a cub is missing and because Comoros is away and Zeke, Kyle and Kelele are on a mission, Kiera offers to find the cub - but sadly disappears.
The three members of the Isu Keeney army were on a search for Keira, Kyle's mate, who had herself went after a wandering cub. When a freak snowstorm had cropped up, the Auni had been forced to break off and shelter from the weather - but the next day, when it was safe to, they continued their mission. They met the cub's distraught father, Jot, who joined their party on their way to a rocky hill.
As they came to the top of the hill, they heard growls. Kyle rushed over the ridge, to find his mate Keira, backed up against a snowdrift, protecting the cub, Lynnie, from a thin, dark-furred male lion who was advancing on them both.
Kyle, ecstatic at seeing both his mate and the cub apparently safe, ran down to help them. The strange male lion stopped and glared at Kyle. Kyle saw the stranger had an odd mane and red smear marks on his face - he looked vaguely familiar.
'Keira!' gasped Kyle through his teeth as he faced the enemy alongside his mate. 'All okay?'
'Fine.' Keira nodded as she stood over Lynnie, and switched her glare momentarily to Kyle. 'Bit battered. I tripped up in the storm. Lynnie's fine too, just exhausted.'
'Who's this - ?' Kyle narrowed his eyes at the foe, but before Keira could make any answer, Jot had his own . . .
'Lagiza!' he roared, tearing down the hill. 'Get away, you kidnapper!'
So, it was Lagiza the Weaver! The enemy that the Isu Keeney had thought was long dead! The great conniving mind who had tried to brainwash many lions, and managed to abduct Jot and Rin, Lynnie's parents. The Weaver, assumed to have been killed just before Zeke had been born, years ago - and yet here he stood - skinnier than usual, with his tribal paint ruined - but alive!
Lagiza's back to cause more trouble for the Isu Keeney - this leads Comoros to start the Auni, guardians of the pride.
