Hello, my name is Haley Thornhill. I am 13 years old and yeah I know it's pretty dumd for a 13 year old girl to love The Lion King. But ever since I was a little girl I have loved everything about The Lion King from the animation to the plot of the movie. But now my love for The Lion King is being tested. My gradmother says The Lion King is for children and at first I didn't believe her, but the more she says it the more I am starting to believe her. I just don't know what to believe any more. Please help me.

I have to agree with Rebekah. I'm in my mid-twenties, and I still love
The Lion King, even though I do not watch it. I know it by heart, same
with Simba's Pride - even though I can't stand it because, in my eyes,
it should have been a thousand times better than what it was, but
that's another story.
No one is too old for The Lion King. Anyone who says otherwise has no
imagination or lack of something else entirely.
No offense to your grandmother, Haley, but if the shoe fits, wear it.
You love The Lion King, go ahead, and keep that love. No one can take
it away from you unless you let them. Don't. We have too many bitter
people in this world as it is.
