Personality:

Lance is very moody, and very spoiled. Though he would rather not take the resposibility of being a king, being a prince had definitely inflated his ego quite a bit. He looks down on others, and snaps at them when they try to make onversation or do something wrong: however, due to being babied his whole life, Lance is very reliant on others to do his work for him.

History:

Kiara and Kovu never had the most...stable, or happy, of relationships. After taking their place as king and queen, they began to drift, and their love was losing the energy they had both strongly felt when they were younger. Determined to reunite their love, they decided a cub could bring them back together.

However, Kiara had been having relations with a passing rogue at the time, going behind Kovu's back to meet with him. She did eventually fall pregnant, and Kovu believed it to be his cub, but Kiara was sure that it wasn't. But, she never told anyone of her suspicions.

Little Lance was soon born. Kiara and Kovu showered him with gifts and love and attention, hoping that somehow spoiling their child would bring them closer. Though it took some time, the sense of family helped make their bond much stronger

However, this constant spoiling did cause their son to become a little bit of a brat. He'd always get what he wanted, and the effects of this lasted into his adult life: he was demanding, moody, and brattish, and many of the pridelands never wanted to see the day where he became king. Luckily for them, Lance had no interest in the responsibilities that the title would come with, and so the title would be passed on to another.

Instead, he lived his life in the shadows of his parents, and the king and queen to follow them. However, he was very much content with this, even if others thought it rather selfish of him.
