Shin Gaiden 2 was released in Japan in 2010 and contained only two stories - Benizakua Hen and Karadaki no Tomon. It was re released as Shin Gaiden SJ Remix in 2012 and contained all the previous stories from Sin Gaiden and Shin Gaiden 2, but with Ganin except Lonely Ron 2. Shin Gaiden SJ Remix has been released in Finland in 2013.
It's a short story about Benizakura's puphood. It begins when a female Tosa, Chako gives birth to three puppies - Benizakura and his brothers. The white pup is the biggest in the litter and he's always chasing off his younger sibling off their mother's milk. To everyone's suprise, Benizakura beats his bigger brother. Benizakura trains hard and finally becomes a champion. The story also contains redrawn plots previously shown in Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, such as Benizakura's death and his fight with Thuna Arashi.
