While watching the movies awhile ago, I spotted a few differences between the two movies.
I'm sure most of you have noticed the changes of voice for Kenai during the Brother Bear movies. In the first film, Brother Bear was voiced by Joaquin Phoenix. Yet, in the second one, he was voiced by Patrick Dempsey.
Three years had passed before Borther Bear 2 was brought into the world of animation. During those three years, the voice actors for Koda, Rutt, and our other comedey moose, Tuke, stayed the same. For some odd reason, Joaquin was dropped off of the movie and Patrick became the new voice of Kenai.
In the first movie, we see Kenai sporting his totem necklace. In the second one, it seems to disappear. As far as I can tell, no mention of the necklace was then on said by any of the characters.
In the first movie, the transformation for our characters is a major thing that takes place. Denhai changes, as well as Kenai, and the mother does, to some extent. In the second movie, Nita decides she wants the change of becoming a bear and staying with Kenai and Koda as their own 'speicies.' So, more or less, a transformation takes place, which is somewhat major for the character Nita.
Referring to Nita only for right now, it seems her looks appear in Mulan, and Poccohantas. It seems she is quite a mix of those two characters in her looks. That was something I found I had to add.
In the first movie, no love interest or child hood friend is mentioned or occurs. In the second one, Nita miracously appears, either from Kenai's memory or the animators pencils.
These facts were just some interesting information I had found about the two movies. Some information that my fellow Brother Bear lovers might find handy to have.
-.Unreal.
