I noticed on the Super Baloo Animation Source website that there is a French comic story of TaleSpin that wasn't on the English site; called Vertiges. Well; I have done a French to English translation script of the comic for review purposes:http://gregory-weagle.livejournal.com/363324.html
It's called "Vertigo Baloo" and that was my embellishment on the title. I should note that this is a very poor man's translation using Google translate as a guide and then embellishing the script a bit to make what they say make sense with what is going on. Don't expect the characters to sound like their TaleSpin counterparts; I didn't localize the script to that point. Note that WildCat speaks perfect English, Molly can operate a radio and Kit cannot do multiplication questions properly even though he is Baloo's navigator. If Bobbi Weiss had brought this comic to the USA; she would have embellished this to death. Also of note: There are explosive symbols for swearing in this comic; but one of the character does legit say "*****" at one point.
I hope to have "The Wrong Culprit" translated tomorrow and posted on my Livejournal and then review both stories on Tuesday which will officially finish off the new articles of the 25 Years Of Spin. Again; the comics were a mess, but their ideas of fleshing out the characters, giving them back stories and celebrating angles from other stories instead of ignoring them was fantastic. Although I would sleep easier if I could unsee and have creative undo Dogs Of War again. Sure; it's a fine story on it's own; but come on. Is anyone surprised that it never was released outside of North America?
