Stumbled across an article this morning that I found very interesting, and I thought you guys would as well. I'll be checking the software out myself as soon as it is made available.

Have a good day, everyone!

That's pretty cool! I'll probably check it out when it becomes available. Of course I'm no animator, but it can still be used for inking and coloring.

Ooh, nice! I've been looking/waiting for a good animating program since I found out the one I used before (Pencil) doesn't work properly on my Cintiq.

I'll definitely be looking out of this! Thanks for sharing. 83

Which type of Cintiq?

Cintiq 22HD Touch. It just lags a lot with Pencil when I try it on there, even after I fiddled with settings. I can still use the program on my other laptop though, since I have an older bamboo tablet I can hook up to use with it if I really want to. (Though I'd much rather use the cintiq lol)

I've heard that the Software is to be released at 11AM JST.
You can check the time here.

So about 1 hour and 35 minutes from when I'm posting this.
I'll be 2AM here in the UK when it comes out. xD

I'm pretty excited. It'll be about 11PM or so here in EST US time when it's released. I'll definitely still be up xD

It's out. You can install it here: https://opentoonz.github.io/e/index.html

If anyone has installed this on a Windows OS, can you provide a screenshot?

I think the Mac OSX version could be missing some tools at the moment.

I did install this on Windows, though it was pretty much the same deal. But after messing around with the program I did manage to pull up some toolbars. If you right click on the "InknPaint" tab, you will see a option that says "GUI show/Hide". Hovering over that will reveal more options. But getting them to work is a whole other story. lol

Edit: It doesn't appear that the program saves these settings. You have to re-open them every time. But here's what it looks like with the tools:

I'm having a really weird and annoying issue when I'm trying to draw on the PITedit tab.

Has anyone else had a problem with the page zooming out whenever the curser gets close to the screen (using a tablet)?

The program crashes when I try to go into one of the settings on the brushes, also when on the PITedit tab.

I'm having that issue as well. It also lags or doesn't work when you try to draw. I've also had a problem where the paint brush tool will just start drawing lines n' stuff while just hovering over the drawing area...

I understand that newly released programs will have bugs, but this program is unusable at this point in time. You would think they would have tested this program before releasing it to the public.

They have a Google forum you can post in: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/opentoonz_en

Wow this sounds great!
But I think I'll just wait until the work most of the major kinks out of it before I try downloading it myself...

However, it is important to know the amount of income tax and the cost that local programmers calculate before starting candidates so that the hiring process ends quickly and efficiently.

Looking for this explanation long time ago!! nice
