I finally got to see some of the complete pre-production materials recently and I found out that there were several spots (the exploding present and Molly piloting the plane with plungers on her feet, making me wonder if Molly was originally Baloo's navigator and Kit was Rebecca's son at one point and that Molly was supposed to be the aspiring pilot.) used for Flying Dupes. I knew about the whale carrier was in pre-production prototypes as well. Even more interesting is that it appeared the show was originally going to be either present day (for 1990) like Ducktales or slightly futuristic, since there was a computer on Rebecca's desk.
