Hey there, here's a mature and thoughtful thing to bring up about this popular movie about dogs of different classes falling in love.

Maybe this is the most adult animated film Walt Disney ever made... Can you believe it?

After reading this article on AV Club, I definitely believe it, and the author mentions many examples that adults will probably catch but will fly over the heads of most kids. It's amazing how a simple story is actually much more complex and honestly true to growing up... and it's focused on DOGS.

What do you think? Check out this link to the article first, and then let's talk about the maturity of this classic film!

Wow...
what an insightful article.
I had always assumed there were deeper themes to the movie, but this really is fascinating. I love what Disney did with this movie, and now I want to see it again just so I can appreciate the points brought up in the article.

It's a shame that these themes and ideas went over the heads of the people who made the sequel. -_-
