When ever I go on this site now, I always see new members having inapropiate names like for example: My butt hurts or I'm a nobody..... Don't you think that's a bit inapropiate? I mean, I wouldn't like to hear that your butt hurts or that your a nobody or blah blah blah blah. Also, when I click onto somebody's profile, I saw something like: http://baltosource.timduru.org/en/profi ... 13493.html (this profile had a word that's to much for little kids who enter this "child friendly" site.) Yeah, talking about too personal. Shouldn't there be a device (like a firewall to keep out spamming names) that allows only apropiate names? Now I just see to much of this, and it's getting annoying. Please tell me about your opinion in this topic, but don't start any flame wars cause I'm not in the mood for my topic to be locked.

I agree, it is called a "username cencor". These things should not be allowd on the site, and something like this should be put into place. Words like "sexy", "Horney" and a few others I dare to menion. However that profile is pathetic "I'm a porn star" was what shocked me, I feel that Moderators should be able to edit profile's for inapropiate usernames.
I dis-agree, with the naming a shaming of that one persons account, however I think it was needed, But it would be better if you shared that person's profile via PM request.

Yea this is a major problem and censoring them is a good idea or in other words just not allow those type of user names to be written or accepted in the first place. It's becoming worse and worse every day. Pretty much all you can to is report and wait

To be honest, if they wanna call themselves, "My Butt Hurts", good for them. Lol I don't care. It makes them look stupid and if they want to look stupid, that's their choice.
Although, bad words or REAL inappropriate content, such as sexual themes, something incredibly bloody\gory (No, not if they put something like "Blood Paws" or "BloodSeeker".) or anything that's disturbing.

Ive also notice this lately, I saw not to long ago a few sexually oriented names, this site is just not the place for that kind of crap, considering how many young members we have. Censoring of these names would be nice idea.

This can be done through PMs to any moderator.Inapropriate names can be a problem anywhere. It is important that you report members for it. Usually, however, the most inapropriate usernames are created by members who use the account once or twice and abandon it. Sometimes this makes it even harder to notice it, so it is important that you report them. Even if you are not sure about the level of offense - "better safe than sorry." As for such names as 'I am a nobody', etc, yes, in a way they are inapropriate as well, but members have a large level of freedom in choosing their usernames and if they choose to demean, pity, or single themselves out, as long as it doesn't break the site rules, it is their call to make. I am not saying that this is the case with for example the username 'I am nobody' for depending on the person, it might have great creative reasons as being their choice, without reflecting anything negative.

The people that call themselves "My Butt Hurts" and garbage like that are called "attention seekers" and like to flame the site. It's best to just report them if you see them acting out of hand or saying stuff that might be inappropriate.
