Kobalt // 10 Year Anniversary Post
10 years ago today I made my first ever post on Animation Source, and began a very cherished part of my life. Only fitting that I made a celebratory post

This is my relatively new character Kobalt. He developed from my first character Maxwell along with my changes in creative taste over the past few years
He was born in a fictional continent named Amatuga, a work of mine of non-Balto fan origins. Kobalt's name means "Night Hunter" in his native Kaoula language, which are an indigenous mountain people.
After his homeland is invaded and he becomes a soldier, the war eventually spreads to Alaska, where he is washed up on the beaches of Nome after surviving a shipwreck. He falls in love with Saba and a whole entire thing happens.
Here's to hoping the site is up for another 10 years of periodic memories. - TF
