Simon Wells will answer your questions!

Written by steet :

For the few among you who don't know him, Simon Wells directed the first Balto film! So he should know a lot about it.

Simon Wells interview

Karlamon was able to reach him, and he offered to reply to your questions!

For that occasion, I've created a dedicated page on the site, which you'll find here :

https://www.animationsource.org/balto/en/custom_questions/&id_film=10&nump=8497

Please send your questions there, before Saturday, 25th July (9pm PDT), and hopefully he may answer them!

@JerseyCaptain: I've told Simon that he can choose between answering questions on the site or though email. I'll update you guys on what he says.

O' Cap'n My Cap'n!
When may we anticipate that Simon is going to have a chance to look at these and give them some thought as to answering? And, more importantly, is he going to visit here discreetly and have a look at the questions himself (because at least one of mine, I know, has images that he needs to view in order to properly respond to the question), or is he going to be sent an e-mail with just text (or maybe an e-mail with a link to the questions page, which would be much better)?

Karlamon, if you could possibly add that members who are submitting questions please make the questions clear, with at least moderate to precise spelling and grammar. This man is a professional after all. Lets provide questions that easy to understand, or are actually interesting. If members need/want help wording something, they can ask a mod or another member who understands spelling and grammar for help.

Karlamon: I think you may want to create some ground rules about questions being asked. There was a question posted, which it appears the mods have deleted, which was not only written in horrid grammar, but also asked Simon what character he thinks he is.

I mean, we're talking about a professional Hollywood director here, not some young fan who may or may not be obsessed with Balto (or any other animated movie), is or is not a furry, etc. He's a professional, and he deserves to be treated as such. The questions should be couched in proper grammar, with proper spelling and punctuation, and they should not be questions which are patently silly (like asking him if he identifies with Balto, or Steele, or some other character). Such questions should not get through to him...we don't want him being insulted or rolling his eyes.

Wouldn't you agree?

I think I found my answer. I saw steet's post on the forum topic. Working on transferring questions over. I anticipate that Simon will find them worthy and challenging questions!

This is great of course, Karlamon, but what about the forum topic you created? Are we now supposed to move those questions, one-by-one, over to the page you created?
