Personality: Tartok is a very angry character- but is also misunderstood. He withdraws himself from those around him and is often seen alone or by himself. While around others, he'll come off as cold, brooding and won't want anything to do with those around him. He doesn't talk about how he feels to anyone and, really, just needs someone to talk to. HE's often depressed or upset about something pertaining to his family and keeps to himself. But he'll only show affection or love for his owner.
Likes: Tartok likes to be left alone; he loves the quiet and the early morning when no one's awake to bother him. He's very loyal to his owner and will do anything to make him happy; Tartok has a deep love for running, but will never express that to any other animal. Watching nature is another thing he likes- often disappearing to go walk through the forest and mope.
Dislikes: He hates being around others- to an extent- and despises it when others talk too much. He doesn't like to be ridiculed and has an intense hatred for his father. Tartok doesn't like bears or wolves and can't stand most of the dogs on Kodi's mail team (not including Kodi). He and his siblings don't get along and he often snaps at them.
Voice: Chris Hemsworth (without the accent)
History: Tartok was born first out of a litter of five to a pair of Alaskan huskies and had his work cut out for him. He often had to compete with his siblings for attention, but quickly gave up each time. He felt as if his parents loved him less than his other siblings and often stayed away from his family. But he seemed to hate his younger brother Noatak the most. He couldn't 'get why he was almost always so happy. He often refered to him as the 'Golden Child' since he was loved by all whereas Tartok felt liek he wasn't. He had a miserable childhood, but secretly cherished the small minutes he had alone with his parents before Noatak and the others would make themselves known.
When he was a pup, he was adopted first out of his litter. He was taken in by a young teenager named Tobias MacAfee, a troubled boy from Dawson, Canada. The two became fast friends since both had feelings of sadness and depression. Tartok managed to pull Tobias out of the hole he had created for himself and, in return, Tobias would do the same for his dog.
Tartok would accompany Tobias on long walks through the nearby forest, listening to his owner talk to him about how he felt. He didn't mind listening to Tobias talk- in fact,he enjoyed it, but his happiness quickly ended when he was ambushed by a small wolf pack. Unable to protect his master since he was fighting his own against two wolves- greatly larger than him, Tobias was seriously injured, but before one of the wolves could finish off his human, Tartok managed to attack him and the wolves fell back afterwards. Tartok didn't know what to do then. His owner was hurt and he couldn't get up. But he stayed by his side until a small search party found the two at night later that day. Due to his injuries, Tobias stayed in the infirmary for more than three days and he still couldn't walk on his own; Tartok still never left his side- not once. He'd often growl at the doctors that tried to help his friend.
One evening while Tobias was still in the infirmary, some of the sled dogs were brought in to make the kids happier. Imeediately, Tartok didn't like most of them. Kirby had attempted to talk to him, but soon left when Tartok wouldn't speak to him. Dusty and Ralph kept their distance from him and always seemed to be watching him. He found them to be annoying and nosey, unable to even stand being in the same room with them.
Once Tobias was ou of the infirmary, Tartok took extra precation with him. He wouldn't lead Tobias too far into the forest and, unless he was by himself, made sure that he was close by.
