Balto and The "Unknown" Dog


Hello, we all know about the 'Unknown' Dog that we see when Jenna and her friends are walking. He gets yanked by his owner, and he was trying to get to the girls, or Jenna. Well, What I think is.. The 'Unknown' Dog isn't really 'Unknown'. The Dog is Balto's old design, and perhaps they didn't want to waste that old design? Or just trying to show that not only Steele and Balto has a crush on Jenna, but most of the male dogs in nome alaska has a crush on Jenna, too. We never see the old Design of Balto again in the movie, but maybe... Maybe that Dog was Balto's brother... father? (Maybe not father. xD) But could be anything. ^^ Who knows, but yeah.. Dog

I think that this is just Balto's old design. Then they just used him to add some humor to the movie. And I don't think that he was exactly going for Jenna. He was probably just trying to get to the other dog.°x°

As the dog was bieng pulled away, I said ''to bad, so sad", plus putting Balto's old design in the movie made us give a hint from te animators.;)

Well, I think it would be his brother, but I'd have to disagree with you on one point when you say that Steele has a crush on Jenna. Steele was just trying to show off and make Jenna carry his pups because he is the 'best' dog in Nome, so he would want the best female in Nome to carry the best pups in Nome. And Im pretty sure that Steele wouldn't want a WOLF mix to mate with Jenna. O.O'

His father? I don't think so. Brother? Well, see, I know that when dogs ( or wolves) have babies, they have many at once. But, I've always seen Balto as a sort of only child ( probably because he was a reject and sort of on his own). But, I do agree that this "mystery" fellow was used just to prove that every male dog like Jenna.

It is possible that that is the old Balto design. It is also possible it is just a character to add some humor to the movie. Always suggestions.

I don't know why people get so into this "unknown dog" He
was put in the movie for a little bit of comedy. We see him
walking by, he catches sight of a pretty dog (Jenna), tries
to get to her, but is yanked away by his owner. It's really
just to show that Jenna is a very pretty dog and a lot of
males would find her very attractive. There is a difinite
possibility that his appearence was based off of Balto's
look in the story boards, so you could be right about that,
but I don't think there is any "mystery" behind him.

Well, in my opinion, I think that 'Unknown' Dog is just a typical pet in Nome who is drawn based on Balto's old design to show us that Jenna is one 'Male-Magnet'. Hahaz. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong, but this is just my wild hypothesis...

CALM DOWN RayJ~SnowPaws{Af}! I don't see any article about this dog, and so what if Balto isn't a pet? That person could of liked wolfdogs, and owned one. care less about Balto, and there. If we wanna see him as Balto's dad, brother, or whatever then that's us. If you don't like this article or think it's useless, then don't post. Simple as that. You are only starting a fight by posting, and yes, I get mad easily. Plus, this article was to show that he was Balto's design, and so they would know who the dog is since there IS people that want to know who he is. I said he COULD be related to Balto if we see him that way or whatever. End of story.

I think this 'unknown' dog was the fact on Fluke's tribute, he was on the storyboards (balto) looking at jenna, pulled away and never seen again, so there, simple.

i totally agree with tamaskawolf, and i think this is a worthless article. why do so many people post articles on this dog? hes a dog with 3 seconds of spotlight and everyone wants to know about him. HE IS NOT RELATED IN ANY WAY!! :angry: who cares if it looks like balto or togo! it doesnt really matter since the design wasnt used in the film! get over him people hes only to show that many of the male dogs in nome like jenna and her friends!! and besides, if he was baltos brother, then why would he be a pet? balto isnt a pet!!! :issedoff: STOP POSTING THESE ARTICLES HES JUST A DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he is NOT Togo and Not Baltos brother, he is just a background dog that tells us how popular Jenna and her friends are with male dogs. and so what if he has the same markings as the origional Balto, so do wolves in Wolf quest. and they arn't anything special. He is not an important dog,°x° altough he is beautiful. I 'm an animal person, so I think every single animal is beautiful in their own way:Love:
