 What color are Kit's eyes are supposed to be?

In the Tale Spin shows and comics, Kit's eyes have always been dark, almost black. The reason I'm asking about Kit's eye color i because on the front of the box of Tale Spin VOL 2, they look more greenish, like they're dark green, are they supposed to look like that, or did the artist decided to try something new with Kit?.

Y'never know what the art departments within a huge organization like Disney are going to do. I remember the kid with black dots for eyes.... but maybe somebody made 'em green along the way. who knows?
