Also, is the fact that Karnage was made into a more comical character in the Talespin series than he was in the pilot Plunder & Lightning on purpose? After all, there are several quotes that make us think he kills the people the air pirates kidnap in the pilot, but never in the series where he seemed much less dangerous.

If there was to be a continuation for Talespin one day, I hope they would make him more dangerous again...While staying true to his character :)

I don't think so, if you read the credits, you'll see that Jymn's name is no where on there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9ViofjxzEA&feature=related It said that the story editor of the host was Tom Minton, although he might have had to talk to Jymn and Mark about using Karnage.
