There is a new The Jungle Book TV series to be broadcast soon, and this one is made in CGI.

It isn't from Disney, obviously. Although, I have to admit that it looks very nice (and that's a lot, coming from someone like me who dislikes almost anything CGI)!
Actually this looks very close to the Disney version, except for...

A serious Baloo with glasses?? *GASP*
Maybe they wanted to avoid getting sued by Disney

I still think that making a new Talespin series in CGI would be a bad idea. (no-no)

The only form of communication the companies understand is...money. If the Talespin DVDs don't sell enough, I don't think they'll try to understand the reasons (the first one being that very few youngsters know Talespin, which is logical since they didn't air it in ages) |

2D keeps the spirit, but I wish Disney Company to see this messages on
the forum, well, personally I think comunication between Disney
animation Television and Fans is very limited. |

This is a very interesting. Yeah the Baloo here has a bit of a
semblance to JungleBook Baloo, but in any case I'm curious how this
will turn out. I agree on keeping Talespin in 2D. Even though I'm fond of 3D stuff as well as 2D, 2D has this flair which carries more emotion than 3D ones usually. |

Baloo looks odd to me :D But it looks pretty okay, better than some of Disney's shows. Ill definetly watch few series, when this cames to TV. |

That's what I said, making Talespin in 3D would be a bad idea. Same
for me. |

What are you saying? it would be a bad idea to make Talespin in 3D
(the way I call to CGI because it sounds better to me), if they revive
the series (which is something I desire like you) they should go "back
to the basics" but with better quality of course, anyway, my gosh!
don't say or even think about Talespin in 3D ever again please |
