I have just discovered that a Disney Rescue Rangers game has been released, for mobile phones! The game is published and developed by a Russian company (Dynamite Pixels)

The game can be downloaded for free (!!!) on this page. In order to download it, you'll need to connect directly with your mobile phone, with a Wap connexion. At least, that's the normal way.
The thing is, I wasn't able to download it on my mobile phone (I was stuck on the "choose your provider" empty list), so I just took some of my technical skills to work around everything and get the .jar (game) file. (don't ask me how, eh eh
) And as the game is supposed to be free, I think it won't be a problem to share it here.
So, if you're like me and can't get the game to work on your phone, here you can download it!
This also allows you to play it on a computer! Just download Sjboy Chinglish (or another Java mobile emulator), install it, open the .jar file, choose the "Nokia N73" skin (to get the best screen resolution), and play! (NB : you may also need the Java runtime environment, which you probably already have on your computer)

The game seems "official", though I still wonder if that company bought the rights from Disney before using the licence. And why are they doing this for free? Is it a demo, and there is more coming?
The main problem currently is that it's only in Russian (at least, I wasn't able to find an option to change the language - if someone can, tell me!) which makes it difficult to play. Unfortunately. But it still has very well made graphics, especially for a mobile game.
Once again, us Tale Spin fans can only hope to see something similar happening for our favorite series (sigh).
We are talking about this Rescue Rangers game here on the forums.

Awesome :-) I wish my game was progressed as far Perhaps I should modify my cdrr game a little so it'll run on mobile phones as well. But I'm at the very beginning at the moment anyway (See Thread in The Acorn Cafe). Seems like a nice combination of different puzzles, and the art is nice! |

Children in Russia, and other former USSR republics knows CDRR since
1991! And it's huge popular, even more than other Disney series.
Second, I think, is Darkwing Duck. |
