The Walt Disney movie Robin Hood is an animated film produced by Walt Disney studios. It was first released in the United States on November 8th, 1973.
Robin Hood is the 21st film added into the Walt Disney Classic's series. It is based on the timeless legend of Robin Hood, a heroic outlaw who robs from the rich and gives to the poor people of Nottingham. However, this version of thelegend is told through the usage of anthropomorphic animals.
This cool video game project on "indiegogo" (a similar site to kickstarter) has just been funded, but as it's still running for a day, I thought some of you might be interested into it!
As the author says, "Among the inspirations I could quote Disney's "Robin Hood", the fables of La Fontaine, "Redwall", "Winnie the Pooh", "The Secret of Nimh", "The Dark Crystal", the paintings of Alan Lee, John Howe, Paul Bonner, John Bauer, and many, many others..."

10 commentsOn April 18, 1983, 30 years ago today, The Disney Channel began broadcasting all over the world. In the last 30 years, it has aired numerous Disney movies, television series, and everything in-between. If you were born anytime after that date, chances are you watched Disney Channel a LOT growing up. It's awesome to see such a milestone from the company, considering their original reliance on ABC to broadcast their content. (They now own ABC. Coincidence?)
