Near the end of the LK2, Simba tries hard to save Kiara. Why would he try that hard? Perhaps thats how Kopa died? From an acident like Kiaras? I read some articles saying Kopa some how died and the Simba was very protective of Kiara b/c of that. What do you think?
Please share soon. I am really curriuos.

According to the current 'official' Disney story, Kopa never
existed. The book series Kopa was featured in is separate
from the films, like an alternate universe if you will. Kopa
is not a 'real' lion king character. Fans may theorize what
they will though, you are free to come up with your own
explanations
