My opinion? I like the style : it's much nicer than anything I have seen being created with computers, especially the characters. They made a great work on the eyes, so that they are very expressive, almost as much as if they were hand drawn.

My analysis? Disappointing. VERY disappointing.

This is below the expectations, below any 3D animated film being released over the past years. UP made 3 times that, other lesser efforts such as Cloudy With a Chance of Meatball or Disney's A Christmas Carol made much better.

There is a new The Jungle Book TV series to be broadcast soon, and this one is made in CGI.

It isn't from Disney, obviously. Although, I have to admit that it looks very nice (and that's a lot, coming from someone like me who dislikes almost anything CGI)!

I have done a little change on the way news are displayed.

In particular, the Animation Source news will appear on all the sites, so that everyone knows when I make changes that affect all the sites.

Also, only a part of the news will be displayed on the front page, in order to show more than a single news. The aim is to write news more often, so that you'll get updates more regularly! (instead of one big news every month or so, like I used to do)

These are very busy days for Lion King Source, as the brand new moderators are slowly being chosen. Currently the sections of fan art, fan images, fan characters and shout box are moderated by dedicated Lion King Source mods! The "Fan characters" section has suffered a lot since its creation, and that's partly due to the fact that when I first added it on the site, I didn't finish it entirely.

So now, just like the other sections, the fan characters have rules and must be validated by moderators before they are added on the site. They will also have "must see"s.

Here are the rules :

Related to Balto : Fan characters should be connected to the Balto characters / universe. For example, you can invent the son of a character, a friend, a foe, etc...Or a character connected for other reasons [...]

Lately, I've been working on a few changes on the moderation side.

I have named Togo the "Site admin" of Balto Source. This means he is in charge of the mods, so if you've got complaints about them, send them to him! () In general, contact him if you've got any problem with the way the site is managed, except for bugs reports / requests for new functionalities that you should still report to me.
He can change the mods list and permissions himself, so that the staff will be more efficient. (in particular when it comes to inactive mods)

We're currently working on the site, and it's causing some problems. Such as the site crashing, messages in the Shout Boxes "disappearing," the site lagging, and so forth.
