My apologies for not posting in a while, Community. Lets get down to business:
First of all, congratulations to for getting the Fanart of the Day title!
I would also like to remind the site of a few things:
-MATE TALKS ARE BEING BANNED ENTIRELY. You can still have "mates" in Private Messages (PMs), yes, but no longer in profiles or, as usual, the Shout boxes or Forums.
-Art theft still isn't allowed.
-New members should read the rules, understand them, and follow them. No mod likes to ban anyone!
Also, has finally re-joined us in the Fan-arts community; back from the banned box after a little over a year. Welcome back, RayJ!
As I did not know, Images from the BALTO movies that have been painted over are not accepted. I'm kind of shaky (unsure) about this rule, so as long as they are Balto-related, I let them pass. If any of you have more depth to that, do, tell.

As you may or may not have noticed, we now have a Projects and Contests page on the site (they are right above the "Fan Art" link)! Soon, Steet will delete the Contest sub-board of the forums and this will be used.
However, the same rules apply. When you "go" to post a contest or project, it gives you more specifics. You follow the similar path of sending fan arts or images.

I'm against the no render rule. What about the people who put
effort into our work? I spend at least two or three hours working on ONE. Must we be punished for those whom send in MS Painted renders that get accepted despite it being against the rules? |

Taken from Images rules:You can of course use screenshots from the films, but screenshots sent without any modification will not be accepted. Each gallery should contain actual icons, backgrounds, avatars, or other things that is not just coloured-over screenshots in paint. I have something like 7-8 renders but also other stuff... |

I don't mind renders. I put effort into mine and I'm sure several other people do. Spirit is right, galleries entirely of renders shouldn't be allowed. As for the mates, does that encompass saying "My character's mate is So-and-so played by RandomUser" on a profile or we have to shut up entirely? |

I believe the rendered images should be allowed, but there should
at least be a limit, like a whole fan image gallery full of rendering should be agiants the rules, because that just lazyness... But some rendering should be allowed, because some people put pride into their rendering |

And loving it, woo XD I think painted over Balto images (recolors) shouldn't be allowed. There's nothing artistic about someone doing a pretty bad MS Paint scribble on a dog and calling it original. If someone copies a scene and draws that on their own, that would be different... but you get the idea. XD |
