History: Kane"s parents were forced to mate by their handlers. Then when the pups were born one was sent to the miltary, to go in place for Sarge who was a army dog. When the pups were born, Kane was the only one who looked more german shepherd than the others who looked more husky or poodle. He was the middle pup of five. Being strangly large he was picked. He was quickly taken away at 3 weeks old and raised in a training Academy.
By the time he could walk, the began simple commands, like "sit" or "stay". Though being one of the biggest pups in training. Kane was teased for being different. Since most of the pups there were German shepherds and dobermans or bull dogs. Being insulted and bullied around Kane at no real confendence in himself. But he was the only one who was learning faster then others. Which made it worst. (its like being the nerd). Once one of the dogs overheard trainers speak about Kane and learned about him being part poodle. Thats when everything came down on kane.
The last bit of respect these dogs had for him was gone, Kane was called so many things, he lost count. Training began getting harder to forcus on. The handlers began to notice he was staying away from other dogs. One day when the handlers weren't watching one of the dogs bit Kane. Yelping and the begining of laughter; he snapped. He broke free of his handler and thrusted himself onto his attacker. Bit right on his throat. Luckily Kane didn't kill the poor fool. No one messed with the hybrid again.
He had a nickname now, Killer Kane. He quite enjoyed being feared but he was kind to the dogs and had friends. Soon because of his fast learning and his desire to obey, He was trained for multiple jobs. Like Tracker, Search and rescue, guard dog, utility dog, defense dog.
His first time on the field was in the middle of a warzone. As an army dog. With his long time best friend and handler Herbert G. Musselman, the two were making sure no mines were in place of the soliders. Kane also would be ordered to attack a certain person. Kane was sniffing around for land mines for the soliders when something happened.
The enemy soldiers cornered them right at the middle of the mine field. One false move and everyone was blown sky high. Kane knew the way out of there but it was past the enemy soldiers. Herbert ordered Kane to attack them. Kane race to them and lunged at their throats. That moment Kane had a hope they were going to make it. But a horrible move by one of the men that had fell backwards towards Herbert, was something Kane will never forget.
The enemy soldier fell onto the ground when he was going after Herbert. In his hand was a gernade. It fell out of his hand and within a single action created a chain reaction. Kane was thrown back from the exploding mines. Before he blacked out was seeing Herbert's body thrown up into the air.
Kane was found and treated, they had found out the soliders that Kane had killed on contacted and the one that was blown up were the people who they needed dead. The one blown up was a general of the enemies. After Kane had recovered they sent him to the Police Academy. Once he was there the officers there treated him like some kind of hero. Kane put on a dog smile and wagged his tail but he didn't feel like a hero. He is still training with thunderbolt but even though he started later than him, Kane is over passing him.
Special skills and traits: Having a excellent sense of smell makes him one of the best trackers. He has grear endurance which comes in handy for a chase. His hard paw pads help him walk where dogs sometimes can't. Being part poodle means he doesn't shed. Though he needs intense exercise is required. He has a fighting instinct including a hunting one. He is well-muscled, balanced and alert. Though he needs to be more confident in himself. He is rather fearless and very active.
