History: 
Chiot was a naughty brat. He often did naughty things. Sometimes, because of being naughty, he had to stay in his bed for the rest of the day.
 Puppies feared him. He was also a bully. They would run and hide from him. But, at first, he has no puppy friends. His siblings didn’t even want to play with him. 
There was a well behaved good puppy named Snack, who had many friends. He never would want to have a fight with Chiot. 
Secretly, Chiot was trying to be nicer, but he felt he couldn’t do it, and he felt sad. 
A decision had been made that some of the dogs should get different homes. 
One day, a lady came. She wanted a liver spotted puppy, but she was coaxed into taking Chiot. Chiot really didn’t want to go. He went wild, turning and twisting until he got free of the lady. He ran and went over the wall, over wire and wooden fences, too. He had his parents galloping after him. Chiot stopped and saw them, and so went to hide. As they came closer, he thought that they would smell him, so he ran, knowing that they would see him, but he wanted to get away. He was scared that they would be very angry at him. He ran and didn’t know that there was pond ahead. He fell in. His parents found him and helped him out. But then, Chiot ran off again. His parents went after him. But then they stopped, and saw the direction that Chiot was going. They took the short cut there. 
Chiot jumped a fence and found himself in a horse field. He crept past. Then he went under the fence and into a wheat field. When he got out, he walked to a bucket of water and started drinking. Then he lay down. He was exhausted. 
After he rested, he walked to an entrance of a barn. It smelt, so he went to another one. He walked in and curled up. But before he could put his head down, his parents showed up at the entrance. Chiot curled up as much as he could. They wanted to go home, but Chiot didn’t say anything or uncurl. The old sheep dog came. He wondered what they were doing here. They told him, but they wondered what he was doing here. He told them that they were staying here for some months. Chiot felt scared. He saw a hole and crept out. But he came to a grey cat. She asked why he was here. He tried to answer, but he stopped. The sheep dog came and said that this was the farm cat that lived here. The cat was named Fimmy. She wanted to show Chiot something. Soon Chiot was able to talk to her. Chiot asked her to show him the farm. She and he appeared here and there as she gave him the tour. 
Chiot’s parents explained that they would like to go home, and bring Chiot with them. But Chiot was having a good time. He was about to surprise a rooster, when he saw Fimmy go right up to the rooster and talk to him. When she left, Chiot pounced, but the rooster flew up and pounced on him! Fimmy came out. The rooster told Chiot the Fimmy would tell him when to fight back. Chiot’s parents came. They didn’t want this to be his home. The wanted him back at their home. They could see that he had changed. Chiot wanted to be friends with Fimmy and the rooster. They told him that they could take him to play here once a week, if he would be nice. Chiot knew that he was wrong to be naughty and wanted to change. He wanted to be kind and help. It was a deal. He made puppy friends and he had his farm friends.
