what if disney made a 2nd robin hood movie? would you go see it?

Yes I would go see it.

I would be very skeptical. The movies Disney makes today are very different than the movies they used to make. Now it's all just about making money, and the plot, storyline, dialogue suffers for it. I wouldn't rule out seeing it, but I would probably decide based on the trailers and the reviews.

That probably wouldn't have been the worst direct-to-video sequel (in fact it could have been one of the best!)
But I really don't see that happening now that the company has banned DTV sequels "forever"

Depending on what it's about, and whether or not the characters from the first would fit the second without drastically changing. But I most likely will, I love the movie, one of my favorites from Disney.

With the track regard Disney has when it comes to sequels, that would be a no.

Chances are I wouldn't waste my money on it. Lol. There are so many Disney sequels that are just... horrible (though there are some exceptions). Besides, Robin Hood really wasn't one of my favorite movies anyway to begin with.

I would debate it. It could ruin the first one, but hey, Lady and the Tramp II was actually very good, so I'd probably go see it if they made a second Robin Hood.

The story has to be good. I'd like it to be entertaining, witty, and not cheap. Otherwise, it'll pass off as a really awful fan-fiction.

Most of the actors and actresses thirty years later since it's release have either gotten old, retired, or passed on. If it's to be supplied with a cast, make sure they can at least make the viewer remember the original fondly. Giving characters voices that don't match the original would be a lazy man's way out.

All in all, I think Robin Hood II would look good in the animation of today... if done right.

I wouldn't go see it. I like the ending of the original, and I don't want to have it all ruined with another botched Disney sequel. I just don't see any good reason for there to ever be a sequel to Robin Hood.

I think a good way to go would be to include another historical figure into the mix, be it original or modelled on someone. I have a cartoon made from Australia which is pretty good, if with some rather dated animation and storytelling, in which Robin Hood assists now and then with the character Ivanhoe.

I once did a Robin Hood RP where Ivanhoe is present, who is on the same tier as Robin Hood, and the two help to rescue Robin's priest of a father much in the vein Indy had to rescue his father in the third Indiana Jones film. It was pretty funny. What made him different than Robin is that he's more of the 'play it safe' kinda fox; remove the adventurous spirit down to a certain degree, make him a Robin who plays by the book as opposed to taking the risk.
