There has been a little bit of confusion as to who is related to who in
The Lion King films, and so, in hopes of resolving this problem, I have come up with this
Lion King Family Tree.

The First Generation:The first known lions to live on Pride Rock are known as the First Generation.
So far, the only known lion from that era is
Mohatu.
Mohatu was a noble leader of his pride.
It is said that after he had passed away, his spirit had become the brightest star in the sky.
Mohatu had mated with an unknown lioness before his death, and she had given birth to Uru; the future queen of Pride Rock.
The Second Generation:After Mohatu's death, his daughter, Uru, had set out to find a mate of her own.
It didn't take long for her to find
Ahadi - a loner who she had instantly fallen in love with.
They soon had two lion cubs of their own who would come to be known as Taka and
Mufasa.
The Third Generation:From the very beginning, the two brothers had shown strong dislike towards one another.
Their fighting and arguing never seized, and both Ahadi and Uru realized that they could not stop Taka and Mufasa from their rivalry.
Not so long after the lions had hit adolescence, Taka had planned a way to seek revenge on his royal brother; the one who was chosen over him to take the throne.
After speaking with a water buffalo by the name of Boma, Taka had assured her that his brother, Mufasa, had wanted to start trouble with the bison.
When Boma attempted to attack Mufasa, however, Taka's plan backfired, and he was cut over his eye by her horn.
As a punishment by the pride, Taka had to answer to the name ''
Scar'' for the rest of his life.
The lioness of this era were
Sarafina,
Sarabi, and
Zira.
Sarafina had mated with an unknown lion and given birth to
Nala.
Sarabi fell in love with Mufasa, and they had
Simba.
Zira and Scar had two cubs:
Vitani and
Nuka.
The Fourth Generation:Soon, Simba had met Nala.
The two cubs became very close, but it all ended one day when Scar planned his final attempt at revenge.
He had killed his brother, Mufasa, by throwing him off of a cliff into a stampeding herd of wildebeest.
Scar blamed the death on Mufasa's son, Simba, and the frightened cub ran off from home.
Years later, in hopes to find help for her starving pride, adult Nala left home.
She soon met adult Simba, and they gave birth to
Kiara.
The Fifth Generation:Kiara met a lion by the name of
Kovu, and they fell in love.
Not much is known about their cubs / ruling.
