"Roadside Romeo" is about a pampered house dog who's kicked out of his home and ends up living on the streets. He meets a gang of dogs--Guru, Hero English, Interval and a cat named Mini. He begins to find a new life for himself, starting a hair-dressing business with the gang and eventually meeting and fallin in love with the talented singer Laila.
Romeo eventual encounters Charlie Anna and his goons--Chhainu, Anna's spy and his 3 bodyguards known as Charlie's Angel; Anna, wanting no other dog to be around Laila, Romeo finds himself in a constant feud with Charlie.

The film was made by Yash Raj Films and co-produced by Walt Disney Pictures; it's the first Indian animated film.

I saw the movie for the first time in 2009; though there's no english version it's easy enough to follow even without the subtitles (you get the general message). What do you guys think?

I never saw it, but I'd like to. I had sort of forgotten about it since it wasn't marketed in the US.

This movie was... bleh... I really didn't care for it. I'll never understand romance.
Such as now after a girl brushes you off after only knowing her for so little time makes you think life's not worth living 8/
Sends the wrong messages in my opinion.

Other than that, I'm not big on musicals, and I guess the character designs were okay.

Personally, I LOVED this movie. <3 I've always been a fan of Roadside Romeo. I really do wish they would release it in other countries though, but I can see why they didn't since the film's only available in Hindi.

It was such a wounderful movie. You could feel the emotions from the charaters to the point it could feel their love, worry, fears, hopes, etc., etc. to your very core.
(that was the way it was for me anywho)

It had everything I ever wanted in a movie: it was located in India, it was in Hindi language...I'm obsessed with India and stuff related to it xD It had a nice storyline, wonderful characters ( I loved every single one if them ), really interesting names for most of them, good soundtrack that I, honestly, have on my phone and replay every day xD Animation was also nice. Even though I'm not very much into 3D, but I liked this one xD

This movie will be my all-time favorite. I'm sure of that. No other movie can top it for me. Not even the ohh-so-classic Lion King (no offense to it's fans as I am one myself).
And...Romeo <3 <3 He's my idol, one of my favorite characters forever. I seriously wish I could be like him, even though I'm a girl. His manners, his moves, his design...I just LOVE everything about him.
So, all in all, I can't live without this movie. It's stuck in my heart :D
