Come on no topic for this movie yet? I'm sure someone liked this movie. Most of the songs were catchy and nice. And my favorite characters were probably Rita and Dodger (he's such a ladies man Lol). It's a Disneyfied animal version of Oliver Twist, and it's pretty good in my opinion.

It was a very cute movie. Loved how they based it off a very famous book [much like TLK] while making it unique at the same time.
Even as a kid I wasn't big on songs in movies, but it depended on the movie. Most Disneys got away with it, and O&C is no exception.
You know I seen it a million times on VHS, but after getting it on DVD I haven't watched it once yet. I probably should.
Favorite characters... need to watch it again cause it's been a while before saying for sure, but I just love those dobies <3

I do like this movie. It has the darker and edgier tone to it but still is light-hearted enough for kids. I'm saying darker and edgier because of the climax on the rails, because of how graphic the deaths of Roscoe, Desoto, and Sykes were (I mean come on, Roscoe and Desoto were electrocuted and Sykes was hit head on by the train. No Gotcha-You-Thought-They-Actually-Died-Did-You?) Everyone wants to talk about the songs, but I say the plotline (even if based off of Oliver Twist) was very engaging and nice to watch.

The only thing though is that I wish there was more development for Rita. I mean she was just practically there. What's her personality? What is she like? She's tough, and she's the only girl in the gang, but other than that there really isn't much going on for her character. She's just there. If she wasn't in the movie, no one would really notice her disappearance. I would've liked to have seen her be an interesting character but alas she was just there.

I do love Roscoe and Desoto, though mainly 'cause I like dobbies :3 But there really isn't a character in the movie I dislike, besides Sykes.

It's a cute movie, and I love Dodger. I'm not really a fan of it though.

I sure did like it! The characters were awesome, the voice actors did an amazing job, the songs were great, the story line was very entertaining! What's not to like about this movie?

(Should I also mention that I saw this movie for the first time just yesterday? )

i love this movie it always makes me cry i love how Oliver adapts to the gang and how Sykes gets killed by the train and how Jennifer adopts Oliver into her family, but Georgette despises Oliver because he is a kitty cat and well typically dogs hate cats idk why
