Spring Fun
Okay, so this took me a VERY long time. Yes, I did a background. A somewhat childish background, but a background nonetheless. I am quite proud of this piece!
So, here we have big sister, Gurri, shedding out her winter coat, hence the reason she looks so scruffy and unkempt. Once all that fluff falls out, she'll be a sleek adult doe. Even her spots are falling out in furry clumps.
She's babysitting her new twin siblings, River and Raven. River is splashing at her while Raven watches. Raven's a bit of a dainty fawn, and for reasons explained in his character page, he will never lose his spots, even into adulthood.
Geno is off with Bambi learning how to become a Prince (and rescuing a certain little bobcat kitten named Rags...)
Done entirely with colored pencils.

MLW: Thanks very much, dear! ^_^ Faline is off in the forest browsing
for food, as does will often do during the day. They only return to
nurse their youngsters in the evening. Most fawns have to lie still on
the ground all day when their mother is doing this, but River and
Raven are fortunate enough to have a big sister to watch them and play
with them all day  Flicka:  he's just standing back a respectable distance so he don't
get splashed XD |

Shame on me that I never told you how gorgeous this drawing is! The
deer look fantastic as always, the background is way better than most
of us (me included) would manage to draw it, which is my way of saying
that it's fantastic (^^), and the situation is just cute. One question...so Gurri, River and Raven are here and Geno and Bambi are rescuing Rags...where is Faline? XD |

Southern Oregon is gorgeous. The Oregon coast is gorgeous and Northern
Oregon is gorgeous. I live in Eastern Oregon, where everything is all
dry and desert and sagebrush and blah  I personally hate it. I wish
I lived by mountains and trees again. If I wanted desert, I would have
stayed in Nevada! |

Thanks all! Feather: Actually, they sort of are XD The mountains here in Oregon are pretty bare and rocky in some areas, so it looks like the trees are growing out of rocks! That, and my backgrounds generally suck >_ |
