I have been trying and trying to get an avatar but no matter how small i make it it wont show up!all it appears as is a white box with a red X in it.Please help me!

Perhaps you aren't doing it correctly...
Here's a tutorial I made concerning how to upload an avatar to the main site : http://baltosource.timduru.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=20684
1. If you're using a URL, maybe it's now broken
2. If you're using the method that you upload through your computer's desktop, maybe the file you're using is incorrect. It should be a JPG, PNG or GIF
