Yes, I indeed program videos games myself. Just browsing one day and found no games in the Fan Game section. So I have decided to donate my skills, and yours, to create a video game.

I have already been working on it, just the basic 2d-side-scrolling adventure game.

The balto sprite has indeed been changed, too look more. . wolfish like. Unfortunately, the sprite editor that I use has brown, but not the different shades of it.  

Balto:

  Balto: 80x35

Basically Balto must collect the medicine to proceed to the next level. (It will be child-friendly, so no attacking- mostly dodging perils as Balto had done to get the medicine home.) Since all of you have been waiting patiently, I will indeed make a health HUD. Since the new balto sprite is large, he can't squeeze through boulders like the previous balto sprite.

What's Needed:

A small detailed flooring. (Snow.) 32x32 Preferably taking up all the space of the 32x32 except the corners. (Have)
 

Example: 

Even though you can't see it, the four corners are transparent.

Small and big trees. (W/snow) 32x32-63x63 (Have)

Medicine. 32x32 (Have)

The bushplane in Balto 3. 32x32 or 100x100. (Try not to make it too big. [Will be combining all the Balto movies.]) (Have)

Jenna sprite. 32x32 (Have)

Sounds: I have a few from the OST, but if you would like to donate more, that would be nice.

Have choosen the snowy background.

Dying sound?: Balto has to make a sound when he's dying. If anyone has a sound clip of him in the movie or something, that would be good.
My soundclip: Balto:"Aww, come on, what's the worst that can happen?"

I am hoping if I get enough help, this project will be finished by sometime next month.

(When sending an image of a sprite, try to make the background transparent, if not, just make the background one color. Usually URL generating sites make the background messy upon uploading.

A title screen.

I have chosen the title screen, but you all are more than welcome to post one of yours. I may change my mind.

Choosen the tutorial/controls screen. 640x480

I have choosen the ending/credit screen 640x480.

Update: Currently working on the last levels of the game. A bug with the masking of the sprite, and a few jumping problems.

Obstacles: Blue Fire, Stalagtite, Minispikes (DOT -DamageOverTime,) Spikes.

Possible Obstacle(s): Stalagmites(Trapactivated,) Buttons, Ice Doors.

Things I have removed since last update:

Sound Effect (The sound that plays when Balto hits his head on the ceiling of a block.)

Previous Balto Sprite. (Though I'm thinking of added a cheat code that lets you play as him.)

It would be cool if you took clips from the movie and slot them in between the levels! But that's just an Idea, you can do what you like. And also I can get the sound when Bato Dies, I think. I'll send it to you as soon as I can
