It's really simple. The image at the back is the background layer. Add
a new layer in GIMP or Photoshop, then paste an image of a balto
character to render over. Then add another layer, make sure that one
is transparent, go over the lines of the balto character. Fill in the
colours of the fan made character. Then delete the Balto character
layer, and there you have it. You should have your character with the
first background layer you chose behind it. If you have any questions,

Don't even start playing the guilt trip. You can 'like' Kiona all you
want, just don't color her artwork. She obviously doesn't want Kiona's
art to be stolen. If you like the art so much, ask the owner if you
could color it in. Please have some sense.  |
