Temporary contest rules.
Until new rules are posted, these shall be the contest rules.  We would appreciate if there were more Balto related contests, but its not required.

Contests have to be well written and clearly stated what the contest is about and what to do. Please do not send a contest that’s basically a huge wall of text, because it is very hard to read. You may use spaces.

Contests do require rules so that those who join will know what to do. You should clearly list out the rules, but that it optional

Prizes prizes. Contests DO require prizes, or else.. Well its just not a contest if it doesn’t.

Of course, keep the writing in the contest appropriate. Please no swearing, or anything that will be considered against the rules.

You can add images in to the contest writing, but they should be your own. Please do not add anything stolen.

Kind of contests. We accept “create a mate for (insert name here)” “create pups for (insert couple’s name here)” and any type of art contests

Contests that aren’t allowed. Adoption contests are not allowed. The forums have an adoption section for that. Pack contests are not allowed either. Why? Well does “Join my pack!” sound like a contest to you? No. It doesn’t.  Even if it has well written rules, and prizes, it will not be accepted.

deadlines. Ok, we don't want a deadline thats a year from now (unless for a good reason) the deadlines can be whatever you choose, BUT they can't be less than 2 weeks or more than 2 months. Fair enough? If your deadline has to be over the limit, it does have to be for a good reason. Like if its finding voices for a project or something.

And of course

All contests MUST:

A. Have a title

B. Have a thorough, clear explanation of what the contest is about and how entries must be completed and submitted. If it also has a short one (in the cursive box) that explains the title further, then the better off it is.

C. Identify the purpose of the contest.

D. Explain the requirements, necessities, qualifications, etc of contest entries (and do so clearly)

E. Be in proper English (Readable. And not half-readable, but readable, which includes punctuation)
