Small and scrawny, definitely the runt of the litter.

Appearance:
Thin and scrawny, with bony legs and a frail look. He looks sickly but for the most part is healthy.His fur is unkempt and messy and his eyes are always wide and staring.

Likes:
Spiders, being friendly, the stars, Christmas time.
Dislikes:
Humans, summer months, water, cars, loud noises.

Personality:
Despite his appearance, he is a fairly friendly dog. Though easily spooked, he loves to meet new dogs and tries his best to make friends, despite most being turned off at first glance. He can be a little paranoid and spazzy at times, jumping or startling at the slightest sound. But when relaxed he's an okay guy.

History:
Picket was a runt, and therefore the least favored pup in his parent's litter. Where his other siblings were sold and found loving homes, Picket never did. Instead he was dropped off at the pound where he was looked over many times by potential adopters.

When he was almost a year he was picked up by a woman and taken home. Things quickly spiraled downward as she began to take her anger out on the unfortunate dog. He endured her kicks and screams until he was 2 1/2, when he escaped.

He found life on the streets much better, free to do whatever he wanted. His time with the woman had left him skittish, but not broken, and he manages to remain cheerful now despite his less than shining past.
