Personality:  A true boy scout, he’s almost annoyingly optimistic. He’s the “nice-guy” and simply works past Cade’s cynicism on the team, it doesn’t really slow him down. He’s always ready first, bright and early. He’s a “Mr. Do right” and often called “the boy wonder”, his jokes are rather corny, and his boundless optimism can be annoying at times, but he’s usually within reason. He’s one of the hardest workers on the team, which earned him a position as a swing dog, and he has an uncanny ability to work his way out of very tight situations. He’s also just plain friendly, and likes to greet people and dogs even while on the job. He likes everybody, and for the most part the feeling is mutual between him and his team-mates.

Habits/Quirks:  Early riser, loves water but he really hates it when the mosquitoes start to swarm.

Passions:  Running with the team, playing with his people, playing hide and seek and general exploration of uncharted territory.

Bio:  Is a swing dog on Cade’s team, and gets along great with the team. Though he is the team’s youngest member- he doesn’t ever get picked on for it. He is a kid at heart and always will be, thus he loves to play hide and seek at rest stops and check points. The nights can get awful lonely on the trail after the musher’s bedded down in his tent for the night, so Pavel often gets the team to play hide and seek. He usually wins because he usually comes up with the most imaginative places to hide.

That is how he got himself into a little trouble one night; when he got himself so lost that not even his team-mates could find him. Luckily he ran into a very husky-looking hybrid who claimed to be a “wolf”. Her name was Spica and she was very curious about his life on a sled-team and his life in Nome. She took Pavel to her parent’s pack- Niju only let him stay if he promised to be gone by morning and tell-no one about his misadventure with the wolves. Aleu was much more relaxed and welcoming to Pavel, and let him tell Spica about life in Nome. Spica agreed to help him back to the trail in the morning in exchange for all he had told her.

When he runs into Spica again, he finds she has come to Nome to be a part of the team. He has no problem convincing all the other members to let her stay for Spica, like Pavel, is also so easy to love and hard-working. Pavel is trying to rally up his team-mates to convince Cade, who is the only one Spica butts heads with. Being an optimist, Pavel is sure it will all work out… Somehow.

Relation to Balto: Lives in Nome, knows Balto's Granddaughter: Spica. Has also had a brief meeting with Aleu.
